Iran Declares Immediate, Permanent Ceasefire Across All Fronts
Iran has announced an immediate and permanent cessation of hostilities and military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon, effective immediately.
Kazem Gharibabadi, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, stated in an official television address that negotiations for a final agreement will take place over a 60-day period. He further indicated that Tehran reserves the right to take its own measures should any "violations occur by the other side."
In related developments, U.S. President Donald Trump commented that the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened on Friday, contingent upon the signing of the agreement.
