Sheikh Hamad bin Fadgham Calls for Tribal Unity, Declares Liberation Imminent
Sheikh Hamad bin Fadgham has detailed severe abuses endured during over 50 days of detention by Houthi militia forces, describing the treatment as the worst forms of torture and humiliation, constituting a flagrant violation of human dignity.
Speaking to Al-Yaman Al-Youm channel, Sheikh bin Fadgham stated that the Houthi militia exhibits excessive arrogance in its deliberate targeting of Yemeni tribes, seeking to undermine their historical standing by persecuting their leaders and degrading their dignity since seizing Sana'a by force. This effort aims to weaken the tribe's social and national role.
Sheikh bin Fadgham urged Yemeni tribes to defend their honor and break their silence regarding the militia's ongoing violations against Yemenis in areas under its control. He called for concerted efforts to liberate these regions from the militia's "recklessness" and to restore security and social standing.
Furthermore, he addressed Yemeni sheikhs directly, imploring them to answer the call and rally at Al-Rayyan, which he proclaimed as the "stronghold of dignity." The objective is to reclaim the tribe's historical role and status, emphasizing that "the time for liberation has come" and that the current phase necessitates a united and decisive stance.
