Egypt Inaugurates Advanced Strategic Command Center in New Capital

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated the second phase of the State's Strategic Command Center in the New Administrative Capital, a significant event underscoring Egypt's ambitious strides in bolstering its defense and strategic capabilities.

The ceremony featured an evocative musical performance by an orchestra and choir, alongside innovative lighting displays. Artist Angham captivated attendees with renditions of patriotic anthems, including "Ya Aghla Esm Fel Wogood," blending military grandeur with artistic expression.

The event also included a demonstration of drones elegantly forming the phrase "Long live the peace-loving peoples of the world," conveying Egypt's global commitment to peace and tolerance. Impressive footage of naval assets deployed across Egypt's strategic maritime frontiers was also showcased, highlighting the nation's naval strength and reach.

This expansive facility is more than just a building; it is a comprehensive hub equipped with cutting-edge military technologies and advanced command and control systems, ranking among the largest and most sophisticated control centers globally. This development reflects the Egyptian state's foresight in refining its strategic decision-making apparatus and enhancing institutional and military capacities with state-of-the-art global technology.

Spanning 22,000 feddans and comprising 2,800 buildings, including an Air Force operations room for managing bases and airports, the center is the largest of its kind in the Middle East. It functions as a miniature administrative and defense capital, serving as a vital hub for crisis management and intelligent control. Its construction involved 31 million work hours, with approximately 18,000 engineers, technicians, and workers contributing to this national endeavor embodying Egyptian determination.
