Air and Artillery Strikes Target Houthi Reinforcements in Al-Dhale
Houthi militia reinforcements were subjected to artillery and aerial bombardment on Wednesday as they gathered near Al-Fakhir market in the western Qa'tabah district, north of Al-Dhale Governorate, resulting in casualties among the group.
A field source stated that the artillery of the joint government forces and drone aircraft targeted Houthi positions and gatherings in the area. This occurred concurrently with movements by the militia aimed at launching an attack on government force positions on the front lines.
The source clarified that the strikes hit Houthi reinforcements that had recently arrived in the area, without providing an exact toll of the human and material losses incurred from the bombardment.
The northern fronts of Al-Dhale are experiencing continuous escalation, with the Houthi militia persistently sending fighters, vehicles, and military reinforcements from Ibb and Dhamar governorates towards the lines of contact.
These movements coincide with repeated Houthi attempts to launch attacks on government positions in Al-Dhale, however, these attacks have not achieved their objectives, according to field sources.
