Houthi Militia Seizes Private Lands in Arhab for Religious Event Preparations

Houthi militia forces have seized privately owned land in the village of Aumra, located in the Arhab district north of Sanaa, under the pretext of preparing a site for upcoming Prophet Muhammad's birthday celebrations.

Local sources reported that the militia deployed military vehicles led by Houthi supervisors from the Abu Nashan family to the area. Upon arrival, the forces initiated the seizure of the citizens' land, claiming the property was required for the construction and preparation of an event venue.

The operation has triggered widespread discontent among local residents. The community has condemned the move, characterizing it as an aggressive imposition of Houthi-organized activities and a blatant violation of private property rights under the guise of religious observances.
