Yemeni Minister Declares Sanaa Liberation a Religious Duty

Yemen's Minister of Endowments and Guidance, Sheikh Turki bin Abdullah Al-Wadai, has asserted that liberating the capital, Sanaa, and other militia-controlled governorates by force is a legitimate religious and national obligation essential to ending the suffering of the Yemeni people. He stated that the Iran-backed Houthi militia constitutes a rebellious group that overthrew national consensus and state institutions, transforming Yemen into a front for foreign agendas.

The minister's official statement detailed that the Houthi militia has rejected all peace initiatives and broken covenants, resulting in the deaths and injuries of over a million citizens and the displacement of millions. The group is also responsible for planting approximately one million landmines, bombing mosques, and embezzling employee salaries, alongside systematic efforts to alter Yemeni ideology, distort educational curricula, and erode national identity.

In the context of ideological confrontation, the Minister of Endowments issued an urgent call to preachers, guides, and imams across Yemen. He requested that Friday sermons next week focus on the dangers of the Houthi distortion of societal beliefs, the erosion of authentic Arab identity, and attempts to impose a Persian identity through force.

The Minister of Endowments and Guidance urged Yemenis to rise above internal differences and unite with the legitimate government to restore the state and establish stability.
